Our rose wines won gold medals. And again in Paris

After two gold medals at the Vinalies Internationales Paris 2022 competition, wines from Villa Vino Rača scored again. This time we won two gold medals at the Vinalies Mondial du Rosé rose wine competition. Villa Vino Rača - Palugyay Frankovka blue rosé, raisin selection, 2018 and Villa Vino Rača - Palugyay Frankovka blue rosé, ice wine, 2018 won gold medals.

 Vinalies Mondial du Rosé is one of the most prestigious rose wine competitions. The first year took place 18 years ago. Almost a thousand wines from 26 countries took part in the competition in Paris. Slovakia was represented by 49 rosé wines. 15 of them won a medal. Slovak wines take home 6 gold and 9 silver medals.  

The popularity of rosé wines is growing from year to year. Over the last twenty years, rose wine consumption has increased by more than 20%. France is the world leader in rose wine production, as 30% of world rose wine production comes from the Galtic rooster country.
